One Call Warranty
Our WarrantyOne Call Kitchens & Baths (One Call) will repair, free of charge, defects in workmanship performed under a Bid Proposal (Proposal) for one hundred eighty (180) days from the date work is completed and Customer has been billed. Warranty is for labor only, and does not apply to materials, material failure, manufacturers recommended use, manufacturer's warranty, customer negligence, normal wear and tear, acts of God, or a change in the Customer’s mind. Warranty becomes effective when the Customer is billed for work and complete payment has been credited to One Call’s account. If full payment of all amounts due is not received within 30 days of invoice, warranty effective date will be on the 30th day, but no warranty work will be performed until full payment has been credited to One Call's account.
Warranty work does not extend the original warranty period. Incomplete payment or separate payment made to a craftsman, for any reason, voids the warranty. One Call has the right to refund a portion of the cost in lieu of work completion or warranty work. Warranty work is to be performed by the original craftsman, if available. If the Customer or Customer’s contractor modifies work performed by One Call in any way, the warranty is void. Neither the warranty nor the Bid Proposal are transferable. All claims must be accompanied by the original Bid Proposal.
If exterior doors are repaired or installed, no warranty will be extended on any exterior door unit that is damage caused by not providing adequate protection from the elements. Adequate protection includes, but is not limited to an overhang extending out a least three-quarters the distance from the bottom of the door to the bottom of where the overhang begins and extending at least 3 feet (3') past both sides of opening. More overhang may be necessary in areas with extreme weather conditions to adequately protect the door. Proper overhang significantly decreases the chance of warping, checking and decontamination caused by the sun and precipitation. An example would be a 5' porch or overhang is required over an 6'8" high door unit.
Customer agrees to reimburse One Call for all materials purchased or supplied, plus a markup of 30% on any material costs over the amounts for materials included in the original Bid Proposal. Materials may include but are not limited to: consumable tools (like sandpaper), tool rental, delivery charges, dump fees, etc. If materials are purchased by One Call, in accordance with customer specifications and agreement, and customer decides to change or return materials, then a restocking fee of 25% will apply. If materials are of a special order nature, no return is allowed.
One Call provides no warranty on materials and no reimbursement for any materials will be made under any circumstances for materials supplied by Customer.
If materials are found to be defective due to no fault of One Call, additional cost may be required to replace the defective materials.
This warranty is non-negotiable.
